Services for Mrs. Ina Gilliland, 62, of 414 E. Market St are conducted Monday morning in St. John's Episcopal Church with Father Jack Potter officiating and interment in Indian Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Gilliland a cashier for many years at the Strand Theater and Hagg Drug Store, died Saturday in Ben Hur Nursing Home after an illness of several months. She was a member of St. John's. A native of Waveland, she was born Oct 21, 1907, a daughter of Claude and Lulu Banta Smith. She married Joseph Gilliland April 1, 1944 at Crawfordsville. Surviving are her mother; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Chapman of Indianapolis and Mrs. Ruby Branagin of Crawfordsville; a stepson, Donald Gilliland of Logansport and a nephew, Richard Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Hubert Smith. -  kbz
